Day 1 : Hanoi arrival - Visit the Capital – night train to Lao Cai

Day 2: Lao Cai – Sapa : visiting ethnic villages

The train arrives in Lao Cai early at 6.00 am. We will have breakfast in a local restaurant before heading to Sapa, a picturesque town located in the middle of the mountains. Sapa is renowned for its spectacular scenery, with its rice terraces and majestic mountains.
On arrival, you will take a walk to visit the town of Sapa.
In the afternoon, depart for a walk towards the Black Hmong villages from Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai and Ta Van. Day 6: Hoi An visits the ancient city and Coconut Forest (no car)

After having a tasty breakfast, we will be devoted to sightseeing: the symbolic Japanese Bridge built in the 17th century with the purpose of reassuring the devil and protecting the peace of the city. The Bridge was the meeting point of merchants in the past; the ancient Phung Hung House where the architectural styles of Vietnam, Japan and China meet; the over 200-year-old Tan Ky House recognized as a UNESCO Cultural Heritage Site in 1990. Continue the walk to explore other sites such as the harbor, the Chuc Thanh pagoda, the Réhahn Heritage Art Museum and the local market.
In the afternoon, with bicycle, our guide will take you to the fishing village of Cam Thanh to explore the daily life of the local fishermen. We will get on a boat to cruise downstream on Cua Dai River and drop in on a local fisherman to see how he catches fish by net. Then, we will try paddling in a Vietnamese bamboo basket boat to traverse a tranquil waterway bordered by coconut-palms.
\In the evening, it is advisable to take a rowing boat ride on the Thu Bon River (do it yourself) enjoying the poetic atmosphere of colorful lanterns on boats. Return to your hotel and time to relax. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, your free time until transfer to the airport for the flight to Saigon. Arriving at Tan Son Nhat airport, you will be picked up by our driver and transferred to the hotel.
In the afternoon, we will visit Notre Dame Cathedral, constructed between 1877 and 1880 by the French. We will take a few steps from the Cathedral to the General Post Office to admire its interior with the arched roof and curved windows, reminiscent of early European railway stations.
The city tour will then continue along Dong Khoi Street heading to see the Opera House and the Provincial People Committee building, built in 1897 by French architect Ferret Eugene. Then, we will visit the Reunification Palace, formerly known as the Presidential Palace. End your city tour at Ben Thanh Market, the city's most famous market.

After arriving at Noi Bai Airport, you will be picked up and transferred to the hotel in the city center. Hotel check-in is available from 2 pm. You can enjoy free time to discover Hanoi by yourself by walking on the narrow buttle streets of the old quarter.

Day 1 : Hanoi arrival 

We will start the day with a trip to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where you can pay homage to Vietnam's historic leader. Walk in the botanical garden where the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts and the One Pillar Pagoda are located.
You will then visit the Temple of Literature, constructed in 1070 to worship Confucius, which was also used as the first Royal National University of Vietnam. There are 82 stone steles, carried by tortoises, engraved with names, birthdates, and birthplaces of honored doctorates from 1442 to 1779.
In the afternoon, you visit the Museum of Ethnology (closed on Mondays, the alternative on this day is the History Museum). The museum offers a wide range of informative and well-documented displays of the 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam. The outdoor display is an impressive collection of traditional houses of various minorities from the north to the central Highlands.
Late afternoon, you will visit the Ngoc Son temple which sits on a green islet in the middle of Hoan Kiem Lake, connected to the lakeside by a graceful scarlet bridge named The Huc (meaning the early sunlight welcoming place). Shopping or walking at leisure in the Old Quarter of 36 ancient streets.

Day 2 : Hanoi visit

Day 3: Hanoi – Ninh Binh

After breakfast, we transfer to Ninh Binh, across the rice fields and northern countryside’s typical peaceful scenery of Vietnam.
Arrive in Ninh Binh, you will visit Bai Dinh pagoda, one of the most beautiful pagodas in Vietnam with more than 500 La Han statues, where you can find the biggest Buddha statue made in bronze with 10 meters height, 100 tons in weight.
Have lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, you continue your trip to Trang An, a World Heritage Site recognized by UNESCO in 2014. There, you can spend 2.5 hours on the boat ride to enjoy the beauty of this place, which has a beautiful cave system and appears in the New Version of Kong in 2016 – “Skull Island”.

Day 4: Ninh Binh – Halong bay

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the harbour of Ha Long Bay, whose name means 'where the dragon descends into the sea', already recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Check-in in the furnished cabin with a splendid view of the bay, welcome drink and a crew’s briefing. An exquisite lunch is served with fresh seafood. Free time to relax before the afternoon's interesting activities.
Start with an exploration of Luon Cave which is considered as one of the most ideal places in Halong bay for kayaking or rowing boat. After that, you can visit Titov Island, where you can go swimming or hiking to the top for another stunning, panoramic view of the Bay. Enjoy your special dinner onboard with the best view of Halong bay.
Free time to challenge yourself in the night squid fishing or enjoy the tranquility of the night on your cruise.

Day 5: Halong bay – Hanoi - Saigon

Wake up early to witness an enchanting sunrise. For those interested, a short Tai Chi lesson on the terrace will refresh your mind and body. In the morning, you can also enjoy a cup of tea or coffee while admiring the extraordinary landscape.
Your next excursion is a visit to the magnificent Sung Sot Cave, where you can take in the panoramic views across Halong Bay. You can also participate in a cooking class onboard. The chef will show you the tricks of cooking our country's typical dishes and then enjoy them with brunch.
Disembark from the cruise around noon and transfer to Noi Bai airport. Flight to Saigon. Meet our driver at Saigon airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at a hotel in Saigon.

Day 6: Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnels – City tour

After a tasty breakfast, we will go to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels. The underground system was built from 1946 to 1968 by local inhabitants and soldiers using simple tools. During the American bombings and attacks, they were turned into an underground tunnel, which could house up to 10,000 people, with trapdoors, living areas, kitchens, storage facilities, armoury, hospitals, and command centres. We can enter some parts of the subterranean tunnels to understand the systems better. Afterwards, we will return to Saigon.
In the afternoon, you will visit Notre Dame Cathedral, constructed between 1877 and 1880 by the French. The city tour will then continue with a visit to the War Remnants Museum, one of the most famous history museums in Vietnam, will transform and challenge your history knowledge about the Vietnam War.
After that, you have free time to go shopping at Ben Thanh market, one of the symbols of Saigon.

Day 7: Saigon – My Tho – Saigon

Mekong delta is known as The Nine Dragon river delta since it is formed by nine rivers. The background of this area is the largest site of endless paddy fields, coconut farms, tropical gardens. Morning, After breakfast, drive to My Tho, known as the "rice basket" in Vietnam. Upon arrival Cruising through Mekong River, passing a fishing village. Visiting some small islets as Turtle, Dragon, Phoenix Island,.. under a green canopy of water coconut trees. Walking through some villages to a fruit garden. Taste tropical fruits, while having live traditional music. Have honey tea. Short rowing boat ride, enjoy the nice boat ride through natural island and canals in Ben Tre under the shadow of the water coconut trees...

 

Day 8: Saigon - Phu Quoc

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Free time at leisure until transfer (car & driver only) to the airport for your flight to Phu Quoc. On arrival, we transfer you (car & driver only) to your hotel. Free at leisure. Overnight at a hotel in Phu Quoc.

Day 9: Phu Quoc – Free Day

Free to enjoy the beach. Overnight at a hotel in Phu Quoc.

Day 10: Phu Quoc – Departure

Breakfast at a hotel. Free time until transfer to the airport (car & driver only) for your flight to your home.
